Tons. I started with Interchangeable Parts, guest performed on Denton High, Circus of the Night, The Tampa Plain Dealers, and was a regular performer with Orlando's Rich Weirdos cast both as a Transylvanian and Eddie for about a year and a half.
Date I started performing in Rocky Horror:
1996. I didn't first play Eddie until years later, though. I got into Eddie when I gained too much weight for characters with less clothing, but I really grew to like playing Eddie. Eddie was the only actual character I ever played regularly with the Orlando cast (about 2003-2005). I play the part now and then on the Interchangeable Parts cast.
Why I love this part:
He is a bad ass! I put on the sideburns with pride! I love his power. He isn't my main part, though.
What made me want to perform in this show?
I looove Rocky. I'd never seen anything like it when I was brought to a show in April of 1996 and I never left it. Transvestites, murdering aliens, elbowsex... ahhh!
Advice I'd give to someone just starting out:
With Eddie, I'd say respect the role. You have to step up and do him justice. Don't wear sandals, colored shirts, your friend's leather jacket, etc. You need to man up (even if you're a woman) and get an actual Eddie jacket made, an actual Eddie t-shirt, cowboy boots, and the right kind of jeans. It doesn't even have to cost a lot of money. I made my Eddie slingshot (as I call it) out of the wood from a paddleball. I got the skull from a set of skeleton earrings sold at Halloween time. While you're at it, learn the part, then learn it some more. Respect the Eddie!
