Why I love this part:
Best costumes in the movie, and it gave me a way to come out of my shell.
What made me want to perform in this show?
After I saw the movie for the first time I knew I wanted to do this as long as possible.
Advice I'd give to someone just starting out:
Follow your heart. Be nice to others. Don’t think of yourself. Be inclusive not exclusive
Other:
There are allot of things that make a good costume. Look for the small details. Just because it’s on the internet does not mean it’s true. Believe what you want, but try to research things on your own. I am a firm believer that the original stage productions from the 1970’s are a good source for costume research. Sue Blane has her own way of doing things, so see how she did them in those productions and the costumes in the movie make allot more since.
